New Albany Chamber of Commerce annual summer highlight is the Taste of New Albany at Market Square on Sunday August 4, 2013! Over 25 Restaurants and Caterers will showcase samples of their signature menu items. Guests can purchase a reserve seat which includes the opportunity to choose samples from the participants and enjoy dining under the large white canopy tents in the Market Square.

NEW THIS YEAR!  The Camelot Cellar Winery will conduct a wine tasting a 4 p.m. Guests can purchase a wine glass and five wine tastings for $5.00.

The featured wines will be as follows:

• Chilean Chardonnay
• South African Chenin Blanc
• Chilean Malbec
• Australian Cabernet Sauvignon
• Wildberry Shiraz

Wine may be purchased by the glass for $5.00 or by the bottles for $20.

The featured draft beer is the locally brewed New Albany Country Club Pilsner.

All ticketed guests will receive soft drinks and water bottles at no additional costs.

ENTERTAINMENT 5 – 6 p.m. The opening band performs: Dwight Lenox and the Lenox Avenue Express.  Dwight Lenox honed his talent in the church choir. From blues to ballads and jazz to swing, Dwight shines. His impeccable instincts and mellow sound have garnered the attention of some of the finest musicians in the industry. He’s performed with Sammu Tucker and renowed organist Hank Marr.  He has also performed as a featured vocalist with the Columbus Jazz Orchestra.

This year an opening band will perform live prior to the featured band.  The New Albany Chamber is pleased to welcome talented young musicians from the New Albany High School Jazz Band.

PURCHASE TICKETS HERE – Tickets will be available for purchase beginning Monday, June 3rd.  Tickets may be purchased online or at the Chamber office, 55 W. Main Street.  Tickets prices are $35 each or Table of 10 for $300.
