New Albany Parks and Recreation

The mission statement of the New Albany Parks and Recreation department is to “[enrich] the quality of community life by providing recreational programs, well-maintained parks, facilities, and services, delivered in a safe, cost effective manner.” Information and registration for both youth and adult sport leagues as well as outdoor facilities can be found here.

Walk with a Doc Program

Looking for a free weekly program that gets you motivated, moving, and out in nature? Then the Just Walk, Walk with a Doc program is for you. With six Columbus area locations and over 20 participating Central Ohio physicians come promote health and wellness through walking!

The New Albany Walking Club

Another weekly walking program this club offers its members the opportunity to walk for recreation, competition and for fitness. Additional services offered by the Walking Club include the chance to earn free gear through participation; seminars on equipment, training, and nutrition, and the chance to promote health and wellness within the community.
