New Albany Area Demographics

New Albany, Ohio is located in the northeast quadrant in Plain Township. Much of the Village is located in Franklin County with the exception of a segment on the east side that extends into Licking County. New Albany is located just 22 miles from the State’s Capital—Columbus, Ohio and 12 miles from Port Columbus International Airport.

New Albany represents the best of all worlds in suburban living. A small community nestled beside a thriving metropolitan center, population projections estimate New Albany will reach approximately 25,000 residents by 2025. The Village is anticipated to move to City status by 2010. Much of the community is governed by a strategic plan which is designed to ensure that all new development adopts consistent standards which contributes to the areas appeal. The Village office vacancy rate is less than 3%. The Village also offers a competitive real property tax abatement package.
