NATURAL GAS DISCOUNT

Members can sign up for the Volunteer Energy Natural Gas Discount Program.  This company offers a program to provide member’s homes and/or businesses with a reduced natural gas supply rate.

Volunteer Energy Services, Inc. (VESI) is an Ohio corporation whose customers include a variety of Ohio natural gas end users. VESI’s purpose is to provide to its members the lowest cost alternative for reliable supplies of natural gas.  This is accomplished by purchasing wholesale energy supplies and services to VESI’s customers.

Note: Switching from Columbia Gas/Dominion or from any other supplier to VESI may result in the imposition of a switching fee.

Service arrangements:  VESI’s energy supplies will be delivered to your residence or facilities via the utility’s pipeline. Natural gas supply will be provided for your facilities by VESI on a cost per Mcf/Ccf basis. The price will vary from month to month and will be based upon the lowest market price VESI can obtain for natural gas for the month.  The price may be based on an approved Index or the NYMEX market plus an adder for transportation, fuel shrinkage and markup.

Term:  The term of this agreement shall commence when accepted by VESI and shall continue on a month-to month basis until terminated pursuant to the terms of this agreement. Natural gas service will begin within 60 days of approval.
