I have the honor of serving as President to a very active chamber in a progressive community.   I report to a talented board of trustees that governs the affairs of the chamber and serve in leadership roles on task forces set up to carry out the annual program of work.

This role began in January 1997 when I became the first and only employee.   With the use of my home office to get started and with the help of hundreds of extraordinary individuals, the New Albany chamber grew from 25 members to over 500 today and is positioned among the leading chambers in Ohio.

My education includes degrees in Business Administration,  Public Administration and a Masters  in Personnel and Counseling from Miami University.  I completed the US Chamber’s Institute of Organizational Management Program at the University of Notre Dame, and AP Certification from the Chamber of Commerce Executives of Ohio.  I have the pleasure of serving as Vice President of Membership on the Chamber of Commerce Executives of Ohio Board of Trustees and thoroughly enjoy being a resident of New Albany since 1993.

Prior to my chamber role, I worked at Ernst &Young LLP as the personnel coordinator for 9 years; and as a Resident Life Director at Ohio State University for 3 years.   I also worked as an Academic Adviser at Miami University and taught career planning for 2 years.

 

Hello and Welcome!

I have the honor of serving as the Office Manager for the New Albany Chamber. I began my position in 2001 and handle administrative affairs.  The New Albany Chamber uses a dedicated chamber management software to organize our data. I maintain membership information, oversee office matters and assist the President. I am a graduate of Bliss College of Business and have various office experience working in a medical practice prior to joining the chamber staff.
