Deb is a Certified Nurse Practitioner, Vice President and Co-Owner of Personal M.D. in New Albany  with her husband Dr. Jeffrey Milks.  Deb has over thirty years of experience as a nursing professional which includes experience in Adult and Pediatric Medicine, Family Practice, Cardiac Surgery, Intensive Care Nursing and Nursing Education.

Prior to her position as Vice President of Personal M.D., Deb was an intensive care nurse and a home health nurse.  She was Director of Education at Park Medical Center and a Nurse Practitioner at the Ohio State University Family Practice in New Albany.  She also taught nursing at Capital University and the University of Iowa.

Deb graduated Cum Laude from the Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree and a Master’s Degree in Nursing.  She currently Serves on the New Albany Chamber of Commerce and Healthy New Albany Boards.  She is a member of the New Albany Presbyterian Church and also a member of the Ohio Association of Advanced Practice Nurses and the American Assocation of Private Physicians.

About Personal M.D.

Personal M.D. is a private family practice that offers 24/7 access to the physician and nurse practitioner, same or next day appointments, no wait appointments and online access to the medical records.  Patients are given a personal Health Manual and an Emergency Medical Access Card to access their medical record for medical appointments and emergencies.  Dr. Milks and Debbie make home and hospital visits in time of need serving as the patient advocate.  Debbie and Dr. Milks are the forefront of medicine, starting a practice with the goal of having fewer patients in order to provide better access, availability and attention to their patients.
